

The workgroup will look to expand the role and capacity of communities to effectively identify their needs and promote behavioral health and wellness while seeking to implement strategies for effective and accessible training and education. This workgroup will address issues of recruitment and retention strategies at the state and local level and discuss how we will actively foster leadership development among all segments of the workforce and enhance the infrastructure available to support and coordinate workforce development efforts. This workgroup will also support national and state evaluation agendas on behavioral health workforce development.
